For Gender Pay Equity, Look to 2057 in TN

Tennessee women eager to see their earnings match those of their male counterparts should not hold their breath for parity.
Wage gaps between men and women in Tennessee are likely to persist until 2057, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing the Institute for Women’s Policy Research report. That means more than 42 years of inequity and frustration lay ahead, based on the institute’s analysis of economic trends.
